Ofira Haim, 56, who was reported missing about two weeks ago, was found lifeless during a search in her yard. This morning (Tuesday) it was released that investigators suspect it was a murder. It was also reported that the police suspect it was a murder following a dispute. The rest of the details are under a gag order. The police statement said: "Ofira Haim was reported missing about two weeks ago. Immediately upon receiving the complaint about her absence, the police conducted searches and opened an investigation into her disappearance. "Yesterday, the Israel Police conducted a situation assessment, following which police and forensic teams arrived this morning to conduct a search and excavation near her residence. "As suspected by the police, during the search, a body suspected of being the missing body was found. Due to the condition of the body, it will be sent for final identification at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Abu Kabir. "If the suspicion that this is the body of Ofira Haim is confirmed, then this is a murder investigation." As reported in Haredim 10, Ofira Haim, 56, divorced and a mother of three daughters, has been missing from her home since Friday, June 22nd and was last seen at noon that day in Netanya. Haim was invited to a socio-political conference in one of the localities in the area, but did not attend. Her car was left in the parking lot near her home and contact with her has since been lost. Her daughters filed a complaint with the police. Adiya, Haim's daughter, told Channel 10: "There is a window of time in which we do not know what happened and I am really worried because it does not suit her. We have never had her disappear like this and she is usually available and always has her cell phone on her. She bought bureks to bring to the conference and they were left in her car. We are asking for help in locating her." The daughter told Walla: "Her mother finished her work at the school, where she works as a substitute teacher, went to her sister's, went shopping at the bakery - and since then her traces have disappeared. This really doesn't suit my mother. She is a physically strong woman, and completely normative. We are quite excluded from the actions taken by the police, but we definitely trust her.".
