Thousands near the families' homes • "The one who encourages is actually the father""

Immediately after the bodies of the three teenagers were found, officers from the IDF and Shin Bet arrived at the homes of the three kidnapped families, in Elad, Talmon, and Nof Ayalon. Elad Deputy Mayor Zuri Crispal said as he left the family home that the one who encouraged the spirits of those in the house was the father, who, even after the army representatives reported to him that the bodies had been found, maintained inner strength and resilience, with a sense of calm.

Journalist Emily Amroussi, who lives in Talmon, where the Shaar family also lives, said at the family's home that perhaps these tense weeks were to prepare the family for the bitter news. Amroussi added: "Perhaps the prayers of the people of Israel shortened the tension, instead of the families tormented by doubts for five years, it was over in three weeks.".

Friends of the murdered gather during these hours near their homes, lighting candles and reciting psalms and mishnahs to comfort their souls.

At the same time, coordination is being made between the families and security officials regarding the dates of the funerals and the manner in which they will be held. At 11:00 PM, a gathering will be held for residents in Talmon where details regarding the funeral will be provided.
