The farewell party of the Shas faction in the Knesset for Ariel Atias, a former minister and MK, was on the surface moving and joyful. Despite this, on the sidelines, a small comment was made by MK Nissim Ze'ev, who unexpectedly found himself in the eye of the storm.

It turns out that while he was hugging and kissing Atias ("I love him, truly, otherwise I wouldn't have kissed him"), he added the sentence: "Blessed that you have spared me from this punishment.".

Aryeh Deri's opponents were quick to interpret his words as if he meant to say that Atias was resigning from Deri. Some interpreted it as Michaeli's punishment.

And Nissim hears the multitude of versions - and smiles.

""The Gemara says in Tractate Ta'anit Avoda-Zara, page 19, page 2, as follows: Rav Acha, bar Abba, said Rav Hamonona, said Rav - that even the mundane conversation of a learned scholar requires Talmud. As it is said, 'And his plant will not wither, and whatever he does will prosper.'".

""The intention is that even a simple conversation of a scholar must be accompanied by an explanation. Why? In order to learn to speak in their language, which is in a clean language." The evidence: It is written, 'and it will grow,' says Rashi, 'a leaf' is a simple word in Ayalon, and even the most 'not a crop.' That is, even a simple conversation like a leaf needs an explanation, to know what the person who said it meant.

""With this statement, I meant to mention what every father says to his son on his Bar Mitzvah day. 'Blessed is he who has exempted me from this man's punishment.' As soon as the son reaches the age of mitzvah, all the responsibility that was on the father passes to the son. And in a similar way – all the responsibility that was on Ariel now passes to Avraham Michaeli.".

""I remember that Amit Segal once said on Channel 2: Sometimes you'll hear something humorous from Rabbi Ze'ev, but don't be sure you understand what he means. I know him, consider the content of the joke he told..."'
