Terror in the heart of Bnei Brak: Dan Police arrested a suspect early this morning who attacked a 13-year-old girl in a stairwell on Ezra Street in Bnei Brak. The girl, who was walking alone on the street after midnight, noticed that a yeshiva student was following her and called her family. They called volunteers from the "Guardians" organization who arrived at the scene and arrested the young man. The investigation material indicates that the suspect, a 19-year-old yeshiva student, a resident of Jerusalem, had acted in a similar manner over the past few months, when he allegedly ambushed young girls on the street late at night, followed them - and when they entered the stairwell, he would attack them. Dan investigators are now working to reach additional girls who fell victim to the suspect's actions. He will be brought to the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court this morning for a hearing on extending his detention.
