A special day of activities began in the early morning hours of the 9th of Av in Modi'in Elite, when the children arrived in special transportation operated by the organization and were welcomed by dedicated volunteers.
The volunteers accompanied the children in all the many activities that took place during the day, from petting animals that were brought in especially when each child was given the opportunity to pet and take pictures with the animals, or in balloon activities at the jamboree and special creations.
Towards noon, the children enjoyed a hot and nutritious meal, after which additional activities continued.
During the day, community relations coordinators from the Meuhedet Fund, which took part in the day of activities, came to see the activity up close - Rabbi Eliyahu Ohayon and Rabbi Moshe Shor. Also coming for a special visit was Moshe Schwartz, manager of Bank Leumi, Modiin Illit branch, who extended their patronage to the day of activities.
At the end of the day, the children return home full of experiences, creations, and something special for the freedom that was given to them and the volunteers as a gift from the organization.
Many parents who came during the day to see the special activity thanked the organization's management, who in the few months since the organization was established with the blessing of the city's rabbis has not stopped renewing activities for the benefit of the children and their families.
The organization's management thanked the organization's coordinators and volunteers who came to stay with the children despite being fasting, and without them the day of activity could not have taken place.
They also thanked Rabbi Eliezer Sverldov, director of the Nof Illit Halls, who kindly and generously provided the beautiful, air-conditioned hall for the benefit of the special children, and the Schechter family, owners of Schechter Catering, for the delicious food. They also thanked the management of Bank Leumi and branch manager Moshe Schwartz, the community relations coordinator at Bank Yitzhak Hasdiel, and the management of the Meuhedet Mutual Fund and community relations coordinators - for their kind assistance in holding the day of activities and for their firm stand on the right of the important organization.
