Britain's Queen Elizabeth II is 88 years old, but she is not planning to retire anytime soon. However, British citizens are making it clear in a poll who they would like to see take her place, already today.

The poll, published in the British media and cited in the Israel Post newspaper, shows that 68 percent of those surveyed would prefer to see Prince William ascend the throne, while the Queen herself garnered only 63 percent support. William's father, and the Queen's son Prince Charles, also known as the heir to the throne, received only 43 percent.

Despite the low numbers, the royals still lead their political counterparts who remain far behind with extremely low percentages. For example, Prime Minister David Cameron received just 28 percent, while Nigel Farage, the leader of the UK Independence Party that came first in last month's European Parliament elections, received only 26 percent support.

Who is jealous of Kate Middleton?

Another interesting survey published in England was conducted among young women and examined their desire to switch places with Princess Kate, the wife of Prince William. The results were particularly surprising: No less than 86 percent of the women surveyed responded that they were not at all jealous of the famous princess.

What is the explanation for the surprising data? The respondents explained that since Kate married the prince, she has not been able to live a 'normal life.' She has many tasks 'and we are not jealous of all her tasks.' The women explained that every statement she makes or even her style of dress is constantly criticized in the media, and therefore they would not be interested in changing with her.

And what is the explanation behind the ten percent of respondents who said they would trade places with Kate? Most of them, it turns out, would want to gain her expected wealth.
