Modesty regulations in... Municipality: The Municipality of Bnei Brak, the city that is currently celebrating its 90th anniversary, issued a letter today (Wednesday) to the employees of the city's Welfare Department, with modesty regulations.
The letter sent by the department's management reads: "Dear employee, we continue the trend of improving the service and making it accessible to the public who apply. As part of this, we are committed to providing professional, efficient, respectful and honorable service.
""With the arrival of summer, we would like to remind everyone to adhere to an appropriate dress code, which takes into account the character of the city's population.".
Here the letter details the modesty requirements that must be adhered to: "skirt length, neckline, shoes or sandals (not flip-flops and flip-flops), delicate nail polish color.".
The director of the department signs the letter with the quote: "Someone is honorable who respects people.".
It should be noted that in various municipalities it is customary for employees, especially those who receive the public, to wear a special municipal shirt, but such a dress code exists only in the Torah and Hasidic City of Bnei Brak.
