MK Nava Boker of the Likud violated coalition discipline yesterday (Wednesday) when she refrained from voting on MK Ilan Gilon's bill ממרצ להשוואת קצבת הנכות לשכר המינימום. לאחר ההצבעה טענה בוקר כי נענשה בידי יו"ר הקואליציה, ח"כ דוד ביטן, וכי בחודש הקרוב לא תוכל להגיש הצעות חוק. בוקר יצאה מהמליאה, מאחר שהיא עצמה מקדמת הצעת חוק דומה לזו של גילאון. "לעיתים כח"כית אני ניצבת בפני דילמה קשה - האם להפר משמעת קואליציונית או להצביע נגד צו מצפוני", כתב בוקר בדף הפייסבוק שלה. "היום בחרתי לפעול לפי צו מצפוני, כשסירבתי להצביע נגד הצעת החוק של האופוזיציה להעלאת קצבאות הנכים שעלתה לקריאה טרומית". בוקר הוסיפה בדרמטיות: "אל מול לחץ קואליציוני כבד ועונש של חודש שבמהלכו לא אוכל להעלות הצעות חוק - בחרתי בנכים!" ההודעה הזו הקפיצה הבוקר את יו"ר הקואליציה - שצייץ בעמוד  הטוויטר שלו, תוך צירוף צילום הפוסט של בוקר: "ח״כ צריך לומר את האמת. בניגוד למה שפרסמה, נאוה בוקר לא קבלה כל עונש והניסיון שלה לצייר את עצמה כקדושה מעונה כדי להרשים את ציבור הנכים לא ראוי".
Booker said in response: "Bitan's advisor called my advisor and said that if I don't go in to vote against it, I will be punished. I'm glad the punishment was canceled and that Bitan understands morality.".
