Did you pack alone? After Netanyahu canceled, Lapid will pack for the needy of Rabbi Grossman

On the eve of Passover, a message was received from the Prime Minister's Office: Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Mrs. Sara, will arrive to wrap gift packages in honor of Passover, together with Rabbi Yitzhak David Grossman, at the Sirkin base, at 11 a.m.

But the reporters, who were prepared to get up at dawn to reach their destination on time, were in for a surprise: the bureau canceled their arrival at the last minute.

The circumstances of the cancellation are confidential and shrouded in mystery. Officials in the Prime Minister's Office told Haredim 10 at the time that the reason for the cancellation was "..."Sudden change in schedule".

 It is unclear whether the rabbi's people tried to coordinate an arrival with the Prime Minister's Office this time as well, or whether they realized from the start that it was hopeless.

Either way, the food packaging for those in need on the eve of the upcoming holidays will be carried out at the same location, the Sirkin Camp in Petah Tikva, but this time the project will be accompanied by Yesh Atid Chairman MK Yair Lapid.
