Netanyahu asked Haim Katz to change the polo shirt he wore to the cabinet meeting

The Prime Minister believed that the polo shirt worn by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs was inappropriate for a situation like a government meeting, and he suggested that he change it. Katz agreed and returned to the meeting with a suitable shirt.

 Clothing incident at the cabinet meeting this morning: בפתח הישיבה ביקש ראש הממשלה בנימין נתניהו משר העבודה והרווחה, חיים כץ, להחליף את חולצתו. הסיבה: לדעת נתניהו חולצת הפולו שלבש השר, אינה מכבדת מעמד כמו ישיבת ממשלה. ראש הממשלה אמר לכץ, כי לבושו אינו מכובד וכי כדאי שיחליף את החולצה. השר כץ קיבל את ההצעה, החליף את החולצה - וחזר לאחר מכן להמשך הישיבה עם חולצה מתאימה. ב'מעריב' צוטט אחד השרים כמי שמבקר את ראש הממשלה. לדעת השר, הנזיפה של ראש הממשלה הייתה קטנונית, שכן בפורום הזה לא אמורים להתעסק בלבוש השרים. לעומת זאת, ח"כ יואל חסון מהמחנה הציוני צייץ: "נתניהו צודק".
