A big holiday for children: Over 25,000 children came to 'Beitar Land' - the giant amusement park established by the Beitar Illit Municipality - for the city's children, where all Beitar children received free admission to all facilities, at no cost.
The advanced amusement park, which has been operating in Betar for the third year, was further upgraded this year in terms of the number and types of facilities, with dozens of different facilities, including various electrical installations, a ballerina, a simulator, a pirate ship, go-karts, inflatables, and more, including a special area for little ones, so that the place provided activity and fun solutions for children from 3 to 14 years old.
Fine Hasidic music was also played throughout the activity hours, which added to the festive happening atmosphere of the event.
In addition, a special jingle with the amusement park anthem was written and recorded especially for the event, set to the melody of Avraham Fried's new song "In Fire and Water.".
Another prominent element at Luna Park: a huge gate placed at the entrance to the complex, on which were placed well-designed signs reviewing Beitar's recent achievements on a variety of topics, from upgrading dozens of playgrounds, to the large investment in landscaping in the city, to security issues, transportation, and more. This small exhibition attracted a lot of attention from residents, who enjoyed seeing the beautiful face of the city.
Shade, drinking water and accessibility for the disabled
This year, in light of the intense heat and as part of the upgrades from previous years, the mayor ordered the shading of large areas in the park, especially for waiting families, as well as in places where long lines of children had accumulated. Emphasis was also placed on making the amusement park accessible to disabled children, who were also able to participate in the experiences and enjoy themselves just like all the other children.
In addition, a cold drink truck was ordered, which was on site throughout the hours of operation and provided cold raspberries to the general public. Needless to say – this was also free, with the cost being borne by the municipality. A record number of approximately 20,000 cups of drink were consumed daily.
The Mayor's Office, where they have been working on the project in recent months, expressed great satisfaction, both with the high number of participants and with the fact that the event went as expected and without any special problems.
""This is the third time in a row that we have given this to the city's children, and it is already a big deal," says Rubinstein. "Although giving everything for free is not at all obvious and constitutes a major budgetary effort, we feel a special mission to make it easier for families blessed with children and families with children, and with the help of God, we have indeed managed to give a beautiful gift to the city's children.".
הוא מבטיח: "לקראת השנה הבאה, אני מתחייב לתת דגש גדול על הטיפול בתורים הגדולים, על מנת שההנאה של הילדים תהיה מושלמת ללא זמני המתנה ארוכים. [גלריה]
