The wife of actor, singer and songwriter Shuli Rand, Michal Rand, gave an interview to Galei Tzahal this evening (Sunday) and spoke about the family's dire plight and the disappearance of her husband over the weekend.

""We left our apartment for another one, but the contract on the second apartment was canceled, so we were unfortunately stuck without a home. We were in a hotel for a while. The money ran out and there was a lot of pressure on the righteous's margins," she said.

Rand later called her husband back and asked him for forgiveness: "I ask him for forgiveness on my behalf and on behalf of the children that we pressured him... We are sorry that all this pressure was put on him.".

She turned to her husband and asked him: "Come home, come back to us, we love you, there are people who want to help us, and take care of the family, the children and us.".

Rand was asked how much their debts were and replied that they owed 3 million shekels to enforcement, and other sums of money to other parties.

The debts started out small, Michal Rand explained, but the interest rates, legal fees, and everything else involved increased the amount.

According to her, until the day she dies, the creditors will not receive their money, because until the day she dies, no matter how much she works and what she does - she will not be able to repay the debt, nor will she reach her rest and inheritance.

The Rands tried to start a theater called the 'Jewish Theater,' but it failed. Actor Shuli Rand works hard, says his wife, but any money he brings in is immediately pledged to the many creditors.

During the conversation, Rand turned to Sarah Ayelet Shaked and asked her to assist both creditors and debtors in execution, so that they could still "in our lifetime, still in this incarnation, get rid of this thing and live like a human being.".

When asked how they managed to survive in the face of the difficult situation, Michal clarified that their faith in the Creator strengthened them.

As revealed today in Haredim 10, Shuli was seen at noon sitting in the cafeteria of the Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center in Bnei Brak, where he was recorded talking to an unidentified woman.
