Studio & Joy employees, people with physical and mental disabilities who struggle to integrate into the labor market, prepared a variety of gifts for Shavuot, including special bouquets made of natural and silk flowers.
The wreaths are made of chrysanthemums and decorative branches, combined with delicate organza ribbons, and cost 50 shekels.
Price of a silk flower bouquet: 15 shekels.
The people at & Joy also offer arrangements and wreaths for Shavuot to decorate holiday tables, recipe books with an emphasis on dairy dishes, carob and cilantro sauces, love and happiness bonsai, and dates in a designed container.
Studio & Joy ensures that its employees are employed throughout the year and paid on a fixed hourly basis, in order to provide rehabilitators with all the necessary conditions.
The employees undergo training and acquire a new profession. The studio refuses to accept donations according to a principled policy of earning employees' income from their own labor and not from the kindness of others.
