Rebbetzin Ronit Barash, 38, considered one of the most well-known names in the world of repentance, was hospitalized last weekend in the intensive care unit at Ashkelon Hospital due to a pulmonary embolism. Barash, also known as the one who leads 'Parashat Challah' ceremonies and travels to the shrine of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov in Uman, was rushed to the hospital in serious condition. Barash, a mother of five children, fills halls with challah-breaking ceremonies and planes to the tomb of Rabbi Nachman, and she has thousands of fans across the country and around the world. ""I arrived at the hospital by car and when I entered there were two hospital security guards there. I signaled to them with my hand that I was about to fall and they came over to me and called the medical team," said Lifat Halali Avraham from Mako. "By the time the team arrived, I had lost consciousness. In those moments, I felt like I was meeting death.".
