Among the partner companies in the database: Zerach, Gulliver Energy, Israeli Opportunity, Cyprus Opportunity, Ashtrom and the founder of the Avner Partnership. . The report was prepared by Dunmore Consulting, and the quantities specified in the report were classified as "contingent resources.". The companies explained that this is a high classification that indicates a geological certainty of 100% for the presence of oil in the reservoir. The 'Thururim' exploration license area covers 94 square kilometers in the Dead Sea region. As early as 1995, the 'Delek' group drilled in the license area at a depth of about 2 kilometers and discovered oil there - but decided not to produce oil from the reservoir due to feasibility considerations, because oil prices were low at the time.
