What happens when a vicious tornado hits a playground and throws a boy into the air?

In a video documenting the incident in Gansu Province in western China, clothes, bags, and other objects are seen flying in the air - and later, a young boy named Li Jiaqi.

Fortunately, Jiaqi was only slightly injured and was released from the hospital the same day.

A tornado is a destructive, localized, swirling storm that carries dust and water vapor and appears as a narrow funnel descending from the bottom of a cloud to the ground.

The speed of the wind, the strong suction force created in the "funnel", and the speed of its formation, which allows for only short warning, cause great damage to life and property every year [Wikipedia].
