The United Hatzalah organization has been the subject of an antisemitic conspiracy theory for two weeks: dozens of anti-Israel websites and blogs accuse United Hatzalah of responsibility for the attacks in Brussels and Paris.

Lies were spread on social media and news sites, according to which United Hatzalah is affiliated with the Mossad.

The proof: His men were found at the scenes of the attacks two weeks ago at Brussels airport and the terrorist attacks in Paris in November 2015 - andUnited Hatzalah members were the first to provide video of passengers stranded at Brussels airport

Various websites and blogs write: "United Hatzalah was also the organization that published the first photo from the scene of the massacre at the Taklamakan concert hall in Paris that took place last November. So for the second time, this group is in the right place at the right time when Europe is being hit by jihadist (or perhaps Jewish) terrorism. Is this a coincidence?""

The reason for the conspiracy is the appearance in the media of Israel Yert, a volunteer paramedic with the United Hatzalah who was at the Brussels airport at the time of the attack. Yert filmed himself at the airport telling how the passengers were in a side hall without food or drink for several hours.

Also, after several passengers fainted, he rushed to help them. The photos reached the Israeli and international media.

Anti-Semitic and anti-Israeli organizations saw the photos and spun a conspiracy theory around them. It is possible that United Hatzalah's connection with the former head of the Mossad, the late Meir Dagan, is part of the reason for the theory. Dagan served as a member of the organization's global executive board and helped develop it in Israel and around the world.

Moti Elmaleh, Director of the Spokesperson and Information Department, commented on the anti-Semitic attack online and said: "'Ihud Hatzalah' volunteers are quick to assist anyone who needs help wherever they are. The claims that our organization has a connection to the murderous events carried out by ISIS terrorists are the fruit of the feverish minds of Israel-haters who aim to delegitimize 'Ihud Hatzalah', whose goal is to save lives regardless of religion or race.".

Israel Irt, a United Hatzalah medic who found himself in the heart of the storm, said: """Yert: The truth is that I was very surprised to hear that we are Mossad agents on all the anti-Semitic sites today. I was on a private trip, from New York to Israel, with a stopover in Brussels, as a driver who is used to helping people, I tried to help as much as I could, nothing more. Neither anti-Semitism nor Mossad.".
