""Conference of Conferences" Canceled: The huge conference that was supposed to take place tomorrow (Thursday) at the Ramat Gan Stadium was canceled yesterday - due to expensive security requirements imposed by the police on the organizers.

The conference, called the "Conference of Conferences for the King of Kings," was planned to take place tomorrow, on the eve of Rosh Chodesh Sivan, at the Ramat Gan Stadium, attended by approximately 42,000 people, with the participation of rabbinic greats - led by the president of the Council of Torah Sages, Harosh Cohen, and the Chief Rabbinate, Harosh Yosef. In addition, singers Mordechai Ben David and Midad Tsa were expected to participate.

The purpose of the conference was to strengthen the preparation for the Torah Festival, and during the conference it was planned to pray the Shelah prayer, which is traditionally recited on the first day of Sivan and is capable of success in the education of children.

However, on Monday, the police informed organizer Pinchas Reuven that the security costs for the event would total NIS 680,000. The organizer, who only at this stage learned of the full cost, realized that he could not afford such sums, and after consulting with Rabbi Yaakov Israel Lugassi, it was decided last night to cancel the conference.

According to Reuven, the conference has only been postponed, and it will be held at the location, at a date to be determined as soon as possible. Reuven complains about the police's demands and claims that at similar conferences he has organized in the past, the security costs were much lower.

The Dan District Police stated: "Dan Region Commander, Lt. Col. Shimon Lavie, carried out an orderly approval of plans, which ultimately resulted in an agreement to reduce the security force by 20 percent compared to the original requirement. The Dan Region Police did everything to ease the security situation, with the understanding that the event was funded by donations. The event organizers even thanked the assistance.".

The police also claim that it is not certain that the cancellation of the conference was due to their demands, and that it is possible that the organizers were ultimately unable to organize all the logistics required for an event of such magnitude.

It should be noted that this is not the first conference that Pinchas Reuven has organized. Every year he holds conferences, both at the Ramat Gan Stadium and at other locations, such as the Yad Eliyahu Stadium.
