Dr. Martin Richter, late of Basel, visited Israel a month after the Six-Day War. • Equipped with a video camera, he toured Jerusalem, Nablus, the Jordan Valley, Jericho, the Dead Sea, Hebron and Bethlehem. • The result: a historical document in color. • The film was edited by his son, Alexander Avidan.
