Crowds from all over the country traveled to Nablus last night to prostrate themselves at the tomb of the righteous Joseph. The entry took place on the occasion of the 'Yesod Shebisod' (Foundation in the Foundation) count, which is attributed to the righteous Joseph, and every year Jews used to visit his tomb in Nablus on this day. The entry to the tomb was carried out under IDF security and organized by the 'Samaria Regional Council' and the management of Joseph's Tomb. The entrance security was commanded by the Samaria Brigade, Col. Yoav Yarom, and many soldiers joined in the prayers.  Among the worshippers, the Rebbe of Karelin stood out, accompanied by the head of the Samaria Council, Gershon Mesika, and the rabbi of Yitzhar, Rabbi David Dudkevich. The Rebbe was interested in many details regarding the settlement and the situation of the settlers. It should be noted that the Karelin Hasidism is considered to be sympathetic to Jewish settlement, and as you may recall, after the expulsion of the residents of Gush Katif, the Rebbe became interested in their situation and asked to help. The head of the Samaria Council, Gershon Mesika, greeted the worshippers and said: "It is exciting to be here and fulfill a dream of Jews for generations, to go up to Joseph's tomb and pray at his grave, counting the foundation stone that is essentially connected to Joseph the Tzadik, the Tzadik, the foundation stone of the world. The presence of the Rebbe of Karlin here by our side proves once again that the connection between the Haredi public and the settler public is necessary, there are more common goals than disagreements, and I hope that his presence here will be another step towards joining hands between the Haredi public and the settler public, for the benefit of preserving the holy places and preserving the Land of Israel.".
