Lirin Shahaf has an interesting theory about natural makeup. According to him, the makeup look corresponds with clothing in shades of white - the pale makeup base, and the translucent powder with a matte texture. The white eye shadow creates a soft, fresh, and vital look, the pink lipstick combined with an undertone of orange, and the eyes the monochromatic white look - all of which give the skin a bright and fresh look - alongside the bright makeup.

How would you do white makeup?

  1. Clean your face with a cleansing gel. Apply a little moisturizer and wait for it to absorb.
  2. Apply a liquid makeup base that is more suited to the heat and humidity of summer.
  3. To create a natural, smooth skin look, set your makeup with a translucent powder with a matte texture.
  4.  To tone the face and give it a lifted, toned appearance, create shadows to frame the face using bronzer.
  5. Place white eyeshadow on the eyeball and "snow" white eyeshadow on the brow bone and blend the two together with an eyeshadow brush. Highlight the inner corners of the eye with a cream-colored eyeshadow. Apply a white pencil to the lower lash line and highlight the lashes with black mascara for an open, fresh look.
  6. Blush the apples of your cheeks with a rusty orange shade.
  7. Apply pastel pink-orange lipstick to your lips.
