Minister of Construction and Housing Uri Ariel addressed today, at the Jewish Home faction's "Kamcha De Passover" packaging event, the conviction of Olmert and the issue of releasing the terrorists:

"The feeling after today's decision is very heavy and causes sorrow. On the other hand, this country, the beginning of the growth of our redemption, knows how to stand firm for justice and we are happy that we have won.".

""On the other hand, releasing the murderous terrorists is the opposite of what I just said: it is the weakness of reason and the weakness of justice. To see a president easily sign a release as if they didn't murder, as if they didn't take a life. This is something that is simply unbearable. I hope we won't pass this test, but if we have to, we will pass it with honor.".
