A hit on Kickstarter: A bathroom faucet that provides an out-of-this-world shower experience, but also saves 70 percent of water consumption.
Kickstarter is a website that realizes creative ideas through crowdfunding.
In recent weeks, a bathroom faucet called 'Nebia' has been gaining momentum on the website, after being tested by many users and receiving enthusiastic reviews.
What's special about the new faucet?
The 'Naviya' does not produce a regular stream of water like other faucets, but manages to break the stream into thousands of tiny elements, and the feeling that users described is that of "walking into a warm cloud.".
""There's no need to move the faucet, or your body, to get wet; the flow envelops you completely," explains one of the inventors of the new faucet.
In addition, studies on water consumption, cited on the Forbes Israel website, indicate that the new faucet saves about 70 percent of the amount of water used by a regular faucet.
The creators of the new faucet turned to the public, via the website, and asked for help with donations to develop the product.
The goal they expected to reach was $100,000. Within a few days, 900,000 were donated. That is, 9 times the requested amount.
The funding campaign will end in just 29 days, so the amount raised could reach millions of dollars.
