Lipa Shmeltzer and electronic music artist Matt Dub on a new album: After his latest song 'Ben Feiga' caused a stir and was widely played in all media outlets in and outside the Haredi media, the singer is releasing his innovative album under the name that perhaps says it all - 'Be Positive.'.
As usual, Lipa manages to surprise every time with original songs and innovative and fascinating ideas.
For example, in a song originally titled "B"H (the acronym for blessing and success), Lipa conveys in a fascinating way his exciting experiences from his visits to the homes of the great men of Israel, including Harav Kanievsky, the Rebbes of Skol'en and Tahash.
While the American version of the album has 13 songs, the Israeli version has 15 tracks.
Two songs on the album - one the aforementioned "Buh" and the other "Egal", which tells of the influx of the masses after the golden calf - were translated into Hebrew.
In the song "Hunger," Lipa deals with the international issue of raising awareness for hungry children in the world, in collaboration with the "Stop Hunger Now" association, and in the song "All Excuses" he reveals his own humor in relation to the many explanations given by those who do not immigrate to the Land of Israel.
The album is full of effects and, in the best of Lipa's tradition, presents musical innovation.
Lipa teamed up with Jewish electronic producer Matt Dove to produce the album, who, together with Lipa's compositions, created a particularly up-to-date album that is expected to change the world of Jewish music by setting new standards for creating original Jewish electronic music.
A
A shadow of Lipa like Lipa is never boring... and he hosts a line of interesting stars on the album who add a touch to the rich work, including cantor Yaakov Lemar, Israeli radio personality Ami Maimon, members of the band 'The Eighth Day' - and Matt Dove himself, who also contributes his voice to the album.
The album cover was designed by Loic Toubol.
With the album's release in select stores, Lipa releases the innovative summer wedding hit that opens the album - "Ma Nishtana", in which Lipa's children take part, and in analogy to a text from the Haggadah, he asks the couple: "What has changed this night from all nights?! That all nights have joys, but this night... it's you!"
