A somewhat humorous legal storm in Spain: The public sales website eBay banned a woman from selling plots and areas in the sun - and she sued the website in court.

The story, which is not from a local comedy show, was reported on the Sky News website. According to the report, the woman, Maria Duran, has been claiming since 2010 that some of the planets, including the Sun, belong to her, and hence her desire to sell parts of them to anyone who asks.

Over the years, Duran has announced that it is considering demanding payment from citizens who use solar energy from the sun, which, as mentioned, belongs to it.

Duran was not satisfied with her arguments, but quickly registered the stars in her name at a certified notary's office, and from there she turned to the famous sales website eBay and offered her wares - 54 plots of land in 'her' stars.

However, the website refused to cooperate with the delusional woman, informing her that her offers were contrary to the website's policy, which allows only 'tangible' things to be sold.

The woman did not give up and went to court in Spain, demanding 7,500 euros for payments that she claims did not reach her.

The Spanish court has not yet issued its ruling, but has recognized her claim.

In the meantime, Duran continues to sell solar plots on her private website, to anyone interested.
