In the letter that is being formed, the soldiers write: "As ultra-Orthodox soldiers who faithfully serve the Israel Defense Forces, we found ourselves deeply offended by the fact that the military radio station presented us in a way that would not shame blatant anti-Semites." • So far, over 100 soldiers have joined the protest, including rabbis, non-commissioned officers, regulars and lieutenant colonels - some of whom are not religious.

The 'Kneidlach' protest reached the IDF:  Shahar soldiers (an integration of Haredim in the IDF), are filing a sharp complaint to the head of the IDF's Radio Command for what they call "the deep damage caused by the military radio station."

toHaredim10 It has been learned that over 100 soldiers have joined the letter so far, including senior captains, non-commissioned officers, regular personnel, and lieutenant colonels, some of whom are not religious.

It was also learned that the heads of the Shahar project, and the IDF program rabbi, received dozens of complaints from Haredi soldiers, who were personally hurt by the inflammatory statements against the Haredi made by the panel members, on the program broadcast on the military radio station on Independence Day night, through the dedicated "open line," which is available 24 hours a day to serve the Haredi soldier.

The project leaders directed the soldiers to complain to the Soldiers' Complaints Commissioner, and at the same time - in consultation with military attorneys - they plan to file a centralized complaint by all soldiers.

Below is part of the letter that is taking shape:

""As ultra-Orthodox soldiers who faithfully serve the Israel Defense Forces, we found ourselves deeply offended that the military radio station portrayed us in a way that would not shame blatant anti-Semites.

"When the IDF, on the one hand, recruits us into its ranks, and on the other hand, an entity on its behalf expresses a desire to 'dilute' us, and calls us 'Kindalach-eating scoundrels,' we feel that the IDF must strongly condemn the statement, and apologize to the thousands of Haredim who serve in its ranks.".
