""And the king's proverb was heard" - the people who hinted said: Three times in the Bible it is said, "And it was heard.".
The first - in the giving of the Torah: 'We will do it and we will hear'; the second - in Parashat Tetzvah, 'And his voice will be heard when he comes to the Holy Place'; and the third - in the Book of Esther, 'And the king's decree will be heard, for it is great.'.
From what is said, "Because it is great," the people who hinted said that this is what is ruled by the law: Talmud Torah and reading a Megillah - Megillah is preferable. Worship at the Temple and reading a Megillah - Megillah is preferable.
In explaining why the Megillah comes first, they said that during the time of Ahasuerus, the people of Israel received the Torah voluntarily, without coercion, unlike what happened at the time of the giving of the Torah. Therefore, the reading of the Megillah comes first, because this rumor of the reading of the Megillah contains the purpose of worshipping God.
In our generation, we see the prophecies of the sages about the increase of knowledge of God in the world being fulfilled.
We see the people in the fields thirsting to hear the word of God, just like the ancestors of Mordechai and Esther.
Let us give the opportunity to the people who desire to unite around the word of God and His commandments, and thanks to this right we will be saved as in the days of Mordechai and Esther.
