Baruch Dayan, the truth teller: MDA rescue team drivers were called this afternoon (Thursday) to the home of Rebbetzin Ita Miriam Sima Goldman (78), wife of the Rebbe of Ze'evhil, Rabbi Avraham zt”l, on Rapoport Street in Jerusalem, following a report of an unconscious woman.
The paramedics worked for a long time together with the MDA's NATAN team to stabilize her condition, but unfortunately, after prolonged, unsuccessful efforts, they were forced to stop resuscitation efforts and announce her death.
The Rebbetzin was born in Russia to her father, Rabbi Mordechai Sternberg, who was a well-known educational activist. Her husband, the Rebbe, Rabbi Avraham, passed away on the 12th of Tevet 5700, and after him, his two sons - Rabbi Gedaliah Moshe and Rabbi Shlomo - were appointed to continue his path.
For years, the Rebbetzin served as a teacher and educator in schools in Jerusalem.
The funeral left at 10:00 PM from her home at 26 Rapoport Street in Jerusalem, towards The Beit Midrash Zvi'ahel - and from there to MountOlives.
