Anti-Semitism here too: The Nazi symbol - a swastika - was engraved on a billboard in a building in Lod, most of whose residents are Haredi.
The residents of the building, on Middle Rebbe Street, were shocked to see swastikas engraved today, Holocaust Remembrance Day, on the bulletin board hanging at the entrance to the building.
Next to the swastikas, a cross is also drawn.
One of the building's residents told the website Tshamor.net: "Although these are small crosses, we are shocked. Anti-Semitism has come to our home.".
According to him, all the residents in the building, even those who are not observant, are Jews, and therefore whoever did this is likely a member of a minority who came to work there. This is a residential building located in the Neve Oranim neighborhood, adjacent to the Chabad housing estate.
Just last night, another serious incident occurred in Lod, when Arabs living in the city center set off dozens of fireworks. Mayor Yair Revivo, who was in the area, rushed to the scene to stop the celebrations. A scuffle broke out, and large police forces poured into the scene.
