A delicious and creative idea for caramel apples:
Mix in a medium pan. 1/2 cup water in a bar of melted chocolate.
Whisk to make sure all the chocolate is mixed in.
Add 1/2 cup coconut milk and whisk again.
Sprinkle gelatin over the top and let the solution rest for a few minutes.
Heat again over low/medium heat and stir again until all the gelatin is mixed into the solution.
Add 1/4 cup of sugar and cook briefly until the sugar is completely dissolved in the solution. You can add your favorite food coloring until you get the desired caramel color. Finally, you can pour in 1/2 cup of schnapps.
And this is how it is prepared:
Cut a few apples lengthwise, right down the middle.
Remove the contents of the apple using an ice cream scoop (or any other utensil).
Place the apple halves in a baking dish (preferably with some indentations).
Squeeze lemon juice.
Brush the inside of the apple with lemon to prevent it from turning brown.
Prepare the caramel.
Fill the apple halves with the caramel mixture.
Put the apples in the refrigerator for several hours.
Cut the apples - each half of the apple into 4 slices.
