Many Haredi and religious people choose to vacation in the spring and summer in the town of Yavneel: also because of the rare scenery and special atmosphere, but mainly because Shivneel is the only resort town in the country where prayers are held in minyan and Torah lessons are held at all hours of the day. It also has purification baths, strictly kosher shops and restaurants, and other services that make the Haredi vacation experience perfect.
Last Shabbat, the head of the Mir Yeshiva, Rabbi Eliezer Yehuda Finkel, who lives there with his extended family, arrived in the town, where there is a large concentration of Breslov Hasidim.
He conducted his prayers in the Breslov Hasidim's Beit Midrash, and after morning prayers he participated in the Rabbi's Kiddusha, where he listened to a conversation by one of the Hasidim.
Speaking to several Hasidim on Shabbat evening, the head of the world's largest Lithuanian yeshiva expressed his impressions of the Breslov Hasidim community institutions in the town. "It's amazing to see what one person is capable of doing," the head of the yeshiva said of Rabbi Eliezer Schick, the leader of the Breslov Hasidim in Yavne'el.
On Shabbat evening, the Rosh Yeshiva thanked the Hasidic activists for their hospitality.
