There is no date for the elections yet, but the political system is already moving into gear: Yashar Chairman Gadi Eisenkot published a tweet today (Tuesday) on his X network account, in which he called on Netanyahu to confront him.
""Netanyahu, enough with incitement videos and hiding behind a suspect accused of intentionally harming state security. You are more hysterical than how I saw you on 11.10.23. Forget the videos, set a date and place. Come to a public debate. Answer the public's questions. A true leader speaks to the public.".
Earlier, the official Likud party page published videos against Eisenkot, claiming that he has no way of forming a government without Arab MKs.

Yonatan Urich, the prime minister's advisor, mocked Eisenkot on X Network: "I am surprised that Eisenkot wants a confrontation after he fled the government before entering Rafah, before eliminating Sinwar, and before returning all our hostages.
""Let him come to a confrontation with his partners Ahmed Tibi and Ayman Odeh, he has no government without them.".
He later tweeted: "4 20-second videos and Eisenkot+Manlis want a confrontation with the Prime Minister. Wait, there are 400 more.".
