
United States President Donald Trump spoke to reporters today (Wednesday) about the growing tensions with Iran.
During his remarks, Trump referred to Prime Minister Netanyahu: "He will do whatever I want him to do regarding Iran. He is a good guy, a great person.".
He mentioned the issue of Netanyahu's pardon, and said of President Yitzhak Herzog: "He treats him badly.".
He added: "I am loved in Israel. If I ran for election in Israel, I would definitely be elected.".
Trump made it clear that the Strait of Hormuz must be opened immediately. "I'm in no hurry, I'd just like to see a few people killed and not a lot. We can do it either way.".
The president added: "What they (Iran) are doing shows that they are not thinking about the good of the people. A lot of people there are angry.".
Alongside this, Trump reiterated: "Iran is being destroyed. You are going to see amazing things.".
