US President Donald Trump announced this evening (Monday), in a post he published on the social network TRUTH, that he canceled an attack he had planned to carry out tomorrow against Iran - due to requests from the Gulf states.
Is 100,000 NIS right for you before Shavuot? Last hours for the big lottery!
""I have been asked by the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, and the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed, to delay our planned military attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran, which was scheduled for tomorrow, given that serious negotiations are now underway, and that they believe, as great leaders and allies, a deal will be reached that will be very acceptable to the United States of America, as well as to all countries in the Middle East and beyond," the president wrote.
He said, "This agreement will include, and this is a particularly important point, zero nuclear weapons for Iran. Out of great respect for the leaders mentioned above, I have instructed the Secretary of Defense, Pete Hassett, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Kaine, and the United States military, not to carry out the planned attack on Iran tomorrow.".
Trump noted, however, that he had instructed US military commanders to be prepared "to move forward with a full-scale, broad-scale attack on Iran, at a moment's notice, in the event that an acceptable deal is not reached. Thank you for your attention to this matter!""
