The Kinneret Marine Police received a report yesterday (Sunday) evening about a vessel on fire in the northern part of the Kinneret - and launched a rapid operation to reach the scene.

Upon arriving in the area north of the Sea of Galilee, the police noticed from a distance the burning vessel in the middle of the water.
Immediately afterwards, the maritime police teams heard cries for help coming from the water, and as a result, they began extensive and intensive searches in the area near the boat.
During the searches, the police located the two passengers in the water, exhausted.
The police pulled the two out of the water, put them on the police boat, and rescued them safely.
After the rescue, the police took them to the beach for medical treatment.
