After the attack, the attackers were arrested and convicted of racially motivated assault. After their conviction, attorney Haim Bleicher of Mehonu filed a civil lawsuit against them.

Attorney Bleicher welcomed the court's decision: "After the conviction of the attackers, we conducted a trial for a long time, both in the district and in peace, in order to bring justice to the Jews who were attacked simply because they were Jews. We will continue to fight for the safety of the Jews in the capital of Israel and will make every effort to exact a heavy price from the attackers and bring relief to those attacked.".
