Ruthie and Reuven Zmora, the parents of the Hero of Israel Arnon Zmora, the parents of Yaniv Sarudi, Rafi Shimoni, the father of Ben Shimoni, and other hero families, along with public figures, representatives of the Israel Police and businessmen, came to salute together with Oded Saruka and businessman Yaakov Amsalem, one of the founders of the Brotherhood - at the ceremony to lay the cornerstone for the national memorial site 'Israel's Enveloping Mini' in the village of Ahi near Pardes Hanna.
The event opened with a moving salute march by the Brotherhood from the encirclement to the village of Ahi, in cooperation with the Israel Police, in memory of the 44 members of the Brotherhood who gave their lives to save others during the October 7 attack.
This is a large-scale national project for research, commemoration, and legacy, which will tell the story of the citizens who acted with extraordinary heroism and gave their lives to save human lives - even though they were not called to the flag.
The complex, which covers an area of approximately 10 dunams, is expected to become a pilgrimage center for learning, education, learning and commemoration, where lone soldiers who are physically and mentally injured will be guided, as part of the continued instillation of the values of mutual guarantee and the duty of rescue as leading Zionist values.
