Among other things, the company develops the Arrow missile engines, the Ofek satellite engines, and engines for a variety of rockets - including the Rampage, Haber and Barak MX rockets.
The explosion was heard in the area late at night.

Following panic and numerous reports of explosions near Wing 2, the IDF and Air Force clarified that the explosion occurred at a civilian plant and had no connection to the IDF or the Air Force.
The IDF stated that no IDF source is aware of an explosion at any military facility or at an Israeli Air Force facility.
Journalist Avishai Greenzig responded: "Opinion - Since we don't know exactly what was there, it is advisable to be skeptical of the explanation that this was a controlled experiment that was planned in advance. A huge explosion that was visible from afar, at 11:00 PM at night, without any advance notice.".
