Two young men, in their 20s, were moderately injured this evening (Monday) as a result of a fall from a height - with their vehicle - on Maggid Street from Mezeritch in the Haredi city of Beitar Illit.
This is a fall from a height of 10-12 meters.
Rescue forces called to the wadi behind Magid Street from Mezeritch provided them with initial medical assistance, after which they were evacuated to the hospital in moderate condition.
Dudi Avraham, Avi Sofer and Yechiel Rotenberg, paramedics in the United Hatzalah rescue force unit: "This was a self-inflicted accident - a vehicle that fell from a height. We provided medical assistance at the scene to the two young men who were in the vehicle. They were then evacuated to a hospital, and their condition is currently described as moderate and stable.".

Rescue Team volunteers Yossi Cohen, Simcha Peit and Yanki Fruchter add: "When we arrived at the scene, we were directed to a wadi about 3 stories deep, where we saw a private vehicle with very severe metal damage and inside it two young men in their 20s suffering from head and limb injuries, after they had flown their vehicle into the wadi during the trip.
""Together with other MDA medics and paramedics, we provided them with initial medical assistance, including stopping bleeding, immobilization, and dressings, and they were evacuated by an MDA intensive care unit and ambulance in moderate to mild condition for further treatment in the trauma room at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.".
