The indictment filed by Attorney Shiral Farjoun of the Southern District Attorney's Office indicates that last year Koren purchased a photocopier and, using special templates designed for this purpose, counterfeited $50 bills worth $1,494,500.

He packed the bills in cartons, in bundles of 100 bills each. In total, the defendant counterfeited 29,890 bills.

Korn was charged with counterfeiting a banknote and possession of material for counterfeiting banknotes.

The case was investigated by the Lachish Police Chief.
