
During a large-scale enforcement activity conducted in the city of Jerusalem by police officers and volunteers from the Jerusalem Traffic Division, police officers from the Environmental Protection Section, the Noise Exposure Prevention Division of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and volunteers from the Southern Jerusalem Border Guard, approximately 230 vehicles were inspected.
70 vehicles were taken off the road due to safety and roadworthiness deficiencies. In addition, 44 reports were recorded for roadworthiness violations and 11 additional reports for noise violations and violations of environmental protection regulations.
Additionally, four investigation files were opened: driving under the influence of drugs, driving a vehicle that does not match the driver's license, driving while disqualified, and driving without a driver's license ever.
Three suspects were arrested, one was detained pending the completion of the proceedings, and two additional suspects were released to house arrest.
