Numerous mezuzahs were seized from the suspect's possession.

The arrest was made after the police recently received several reports that mezuzahs had been torn off and stolen from residential homes in the cities of Holon and Bat Yam.

Following the events, Holon police officers launched an undercover investigation, incorporating advanced technological means, with the aim of locating those involved in the serious acts.

As the investigation progressed and the findings were collected, while conducting many and varied investigative actions, the Holon police station was able to identify the suspect and that evening, during an operational activity, he was arrested in a residence in Jaffa.

Mezuzahs were seized in the suspect's possession, which he is suspected of tearing off and stealing.

The suspect, an illegal resident, a 25-year-old resident of Hebron, was arrested and taken for questioning at the Holon police station.

Tomorrow, the suspect will be brought to the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court for a hearing regarding the extension of his detention.
