
The Shi'ite District police opened an investigation into a complaint about threats to harm National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir at noon (Sunday).
The suspect in the act, a Jerusalem resident in his 60s, was arrested and taken for questioning at the Hebron police station.
The arrest was made after a complaint was filed with the police earlier today by a citizen against a suspect who spoke to him by phone and during the conversation made a threat towards the minister.
Immediately upon receipt of the complaint, investigative actions began, while at the same time additional security officials were informed of the matter.
This evening, the suspect was located with the assistance of Jerusalem District police, he was detained and transferred for questioning at the Hebron station, for threats.
The police investigation is ongoing.
