
This morning (Friday), a report was received at the police hotline about an item of weaponry that was found on the roof of a school in Nahariya, with no injuries or damage.
Asher Regional Police and Coastal District Saboteurs arrived at the scene, evacuated the school, and began operations to neutralize and remove the unmanned aerial vehicle.
""We appeal to the public to be attentive and follow the instructions. Any unusual event should be reported to the police emergency hotline 100. For information, call the police information hotline 110," the police statement said.
Fire and Rescue reported that at approximately 10:32 AM, a report was received at the Fire and Rescue hotline about an unmanned aerial vehicle that was located on the roof of a school in Nahariya.
Upon the arrival of the first teams at the scene, the aircraft was identified - the firefighters are providing logistical and operational support to the saboteurs operating at the scene.
A crane was sent to the scene from the Acre station, used to raise the demolition force and professional equipment to the roof of the building for the purpose of clearing the vehicle.
Firefighters secure the activity using attack lines and firefighting equipment ready for immediate response.
