The two announced that the merger is intended to establish a political home for the religious and national public in Israel. According to them, the move is based on the need to form an ideological force that does not compromise on fundamental values.

According to the agreement, the joint faction will work to promote a series of principles, including decisive action against the enemy, strengthening settlement, encouraging immigration, strengthening Jewish identity, and restoring governance.

The two will also work to reduce bureaucracy and strengthen individual freedom. The principles will be defined as a compass for activity in the Knesset and the government.

Feiglin said: "After the holocaust that enveloped on October 7, the connection between those who fought for the Oslo Accords, warned of the impending disaster and paid heavy personal prices, is a necessary connection to prevent the next disaster!".

He added that the merger would give the national camp a clear direction and ideological depth that would allow it to offer an alternative from the right. "We call on all ideological bodies that seek to combine a solid Jewish identity and true personal freedom to join the Zehut party and shape a Jewish, safe and prosperous state for our sons and daughters.""

According to him, this is a broad move aimed at uniting additional forces around a shared worldview.

Ben Ari said: "After October 7th, we opened our eyes and realized that we cannot continue to live within a concept of disastrous illusions." He added that true leadership is measured by courage and responsibility, and noted that they intend to constitute an ideological wall to preserve Israel as a Jewish state.

The two announced that a joint headquarters has already begun formulating the list, which will include figures from the religious, ideological, and security spheres.

In addition, they noted that they will act transparently and with consent to include additional political and public figures who identify with the basic principles of the move.
