Yair Golan, chairman of the Democratic Party, called today (Tuesday) on the leaders of the opposition - Naftali Bennett, Yair Lapid and Gadi Eisenkot - to join forces with the Ra'am party in an effort to overthrow the government.
In a statement he published, Golan spoke out against the disqualification of the Arab party and demanded that his members of the left bloc declare that RAAM is a partner in the path to overthrowing the government.
Yair Golan's statement said: "The time has come to stop cooperating with the campaign of incitement and delegitimization and to behave like a government alternative.".
""I am personally and directly addressing all members of the leaders in the Liberal and Democratic bloc: If we must use the fingers of the R.A.M. party to overthrow the government of default, then it is a worthy partner.".
""Declare openly today that Mansour Abbas is a legitimate partner in forming a government."
Blue and White said in response to Yair Golan: "We didn't think we would say this, but we agree with Yair Golan.
""Bennett, Eisenkot and Lieberman - tell the public the truth and don't hide. Are you committed to a Zionist government in order to pass a conscription law and deal with the security challenges we face, or do you intend to lean on the Arab parties? The public deserves to know the truth.".
