Shocking event in Gush Etzion: Border Guard and Civil Administration forces raided the Kochav Yehuda farm last night (Friday night), which creates a strategic Jewish connection between the settlements of Efrat and Tekoa, destroying the residential buildings there, confiscating holy books and destroying a large amount of equipment.
This is the 33rd demolition to occur at the site since it was established about two months ago. The number of destructions at a farm that is being rebuilt each time is unprecedented, but the sights that were revealed to the farm's residents last night were even more shocking.
When the forces left, the residents returned to the scene, and noticed to their astonishment that in addition to the heavy damage, the flood brought by the Civil Administration had completely destroyed a pair of tefillin belonging to a resident of the farm. Rosh's tefillin was cut in two, and Yad's tefillin were also damaged.
The farm reacted with shock to the event: "These are sights that shock every Jewish soul and are remembered from dark times. The difficult event of the destruction of sacred objects is the result of unrestrained persecution waged by the Central Command against the farm.
