
After Naftali Bennett threatened to remove officers who behave in an unprofessional manner - if he is elected prime minister - Police Commissioner Danny Levy is launching a harsh attack against him.
According to a report on Channel 13, following Bennett's remarks in a series of interviews he held on Wednesday, in which he spoke harshly against the senior police echelon and said that he would fire officers who behave in an unprofessional manner, according to him, under Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir - the Commissioner responded today.
In a conversation he had with senior officers in the organization, Levy said: "Once again we hear a politician who is trying to deter us with implicit threats.".
He added: "Continue to do your job as usual. To the politicians, I say - we are not afraid of you and we will not shy away from our work. Get your hands off the police.".
