MK Walid Taha, chairman of the Ra'am faction in the Knesset, today (Thursday) referred to the promise of the chairman of the 'Unity' party, Naftali Bennett, that he would not sit down after the elections - to the extent that he would be the one to form the government - with the Ra'am party.
Taha was asked about this in an interview with Radio Nas - and replied: "Are you asking if Bennett will sit with us in the government after the elections? He also said in the past that he would not form a government with Ra'am and Lapid - we'll see after the elections.".
Naftali Bennett, who broke his promises one after another, promised in the 2022 elections that he would not reconcile with the Ra'am party - and in the end, he formed the 'Government of Change' with them.
Yesterday, during the marathon of interviews he gave to television channels, Bennett was asked why the public should believe him that he would not break his promises this time too - but he elegantly evaded answering.
