A ceremony to award the 2025 awards was held at Mossad headquarters yesterday (Monday), in the presence of Mossad Director Dedi Barnea, the Senior Command Forum, organization employees, and guests from the IDF and security agencies.
At the ceremony, awards were presented to ten operations and projects, including exceptional operations to obtain strategic and tactical intelligence in the "core of the enemy's secret" - which enabled significant activities in Iran and Lebanon and preserved Israel's intelligence superiority.
In addition, a commendation was awarded for a series of groundbreaking operations as part of Operation 'Am Kalavi', in which new working methods were implemented that combine agents in the field with advanced technological capabilities and covert infiltration into the heart of Tehran.
An additional medal was awarded for strategic activity within the framework of the secret diplomatic campaign to expand Israel's strategic depth and create regional alliances.
Alongside this, a Medal of Valor and Courage was awarded to a veteran soldier for leading a daring and first-of-its-kind operation.
The head of the Mossad said at the ceremony: "In the campaigns against Iran and Hezbollah, we worked hand in hand alongside the IDF - both in defense and offense, and we exerted influence based on relative advantages and true partnership: in attacking targets in the heart of Tehran, in thwarting senior figures, in achieving air superiority and in protecting the Israeli home front.".
He added: "The operations that won the Israeli flag this year allowed us to break through borders in Lebanon and Iran. We obtained strategic and tactical intelligence at the heart of the enemy's secret. We demonstrated new and groundbreaking operational capabilities in target countries. We demonstrated the effectiveness of a powerful innovative array for striking our enemies. We implemented the covert diplomatic campaign that is critically important for creating regional alliances and expanding Israel's strategic depth.".
He said, "Together with the IDF, we changed the strategic posture of the State of Israel and strengthened its strength.".
Barnea emphasized: "At the same time, we are committed to keeping seven eyes open, we are committed to intelligence and operational boldness, and we are committed to the principle of action. We will not rest on our laurels, and when we see a threat, we will act with full force.".
